What is Opportunity 2010?
A once in a lifetime opportunity to start your own Clean Air Lawn Care business with tools provided for you to succeed. Opportunity 2010 is a contest designed to give a 2^nd chance to someone that deserves it to win a Clean Air Lawn Care franchise.

Why Opportunity 2010?
Our country is emerging from an economically difficult 2009. There are many hard-working Americans who are currently recovering from unexpected events. At the same time, we are undergoing a climate crisis and a need to re-examine our values as a nation toward living and working sustainably. Opportunity 2010 is designed to give a 2^nd chance to someone who has the skills, passion and determination to be successful and do something positive for themselves and their environment, but who doesn’t have the means.Opportunity 2010 is a way for Clean Air’s CEO, Kelly Giard, who was just named Entrepreneur Magazine’s Emerging Entrepreneur 2009, to pay it forward by helping a deserving entrepreneur be successful in 2010.

Who is the Ideal Candidate?
The ideal candidate will be business-savvy, environmentally minded, and passionate about improving his/her life and the environment in their community.
AND this candidate would have had a challenging year in 2009, financial or otherwise.
AND The successful candidate will have $15k liquid ($65k net) to put toward start-up costs.

How Will Candidates Be Chosen
The candidates will be chosen based on an online submission process which will culminate with a public vote among 5 finalists. The winner will be announced March 18 2010.

What Will Winner of Opportunity 2010 Receive?
The winner of Opportunity 2010 will receive a Clean Air Lawn Care franchise and start-up package worth 35k+. This will include:

	Clean Air Lawn Care franchise, complete with training and ongoing support (35k value)
	Black & Decker Electric Lawn Equipment
	Virtual Grand Opening with Marketing by GenGreen (3k)
