We’re looking for a skilled, reliable Landscaping & Hardscaping Technician to join our growing lawn care and outdoor services team. This role focuses on building, installing, and improving outdoor spaces for residential and small commercial clients. You’ll work on a variety of projects including landscape installs, pavers, retaining walls, irrigation repairs, sod installation, and general outdoor improvements.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in craftsmanship, and wants to grow their skills in landscape construction.

- $18 For a Helper – $20-$22 For a lawn tech – A players $25 Hourly pay based on experience

Requirements
- Experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or construction preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather
- Reliable transportation to job sites or shop
- Attention to detail and pride in quality work

Responsibilities
- Perform landscape and hardscape installations with quality and attention to detail
- Build patios, walkways, retaining walls, and edging
- Install plants, trees, mulch, gravel, and decorative rock
- Install sod and prepare soil/grade areas
- Assist with irrigation installs and repairs
- Follow project plans, layouts, and job specs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
- Communicate with team leads and customers when needed
- Load/unload materials and help with job prep and cleanup
- Represent the company professionally at job sites
- Be able to upsell jobs or tasks if needed
Day-to-Day Job Based Tasks
Landscaping Tasks
- Remove old turf, weeds, and debris
- Prepare soil (grading, leveling, soil amendments)
- Install plants, shrubs, trees, groundcover
- Apply mulch, bark dust, compost, and decorative rock
- Build planting beds and garden borders
- Perform basic landscape maintenance on installed areas
Hardscaping Tasks
- Excavate and prepare base for pavers, patios, and walkways
- Install pavers, stepping stones, and gravel paths
- Build small retaining walls and garden walls (block or stone)
- Set edging (metal, plastic, concrete)
- Compact base materials and ensure proper drainage/slope
Irrigation Tasks
- Trench for irrigation lines
- Install and repair sprinkler heads, drip lines, valves, and controllers
- Perform basic irrigation troubleshooting and adjustments
- Test zones and ensure proper coverage
Sod & Lawn Renovation Tasks
- Remove old grass and prep soil for sod or seed
- Install sod (cutting, fitting, rolling)
- Apply starter fertilizer and watering schedules
- Assist with lawn grading and minor drainage improvements
General Job Site Tasks
- Load/unload materials and tools
- Keep job site clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures and wear PPE
- Document work and flag any issues to the crew lead
- Assist with project setup and final walkthroughs
