Clean Air Lawn Care Wilmington is hiring an experienced lawn care professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager. This is a working lead role that is perfect for someone who thrives outdoors, knows the industry, and is ready to take on more responsibility while still getting their hands dirty.
We’re a local, family-owned business offering eco-friendly, battery-powered lawn care with organic, pet-safe treatments. Our team uses solar-charged electric equipment that’s clean, quiet, and effective. We’re looking for someone who brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and clear communication skills, along with a positive, team-focused attitude and a commitment to doing great work. Responsibilities
- Lead and support the lawn care crew during daily operations
- Work safely and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Service client properties with weekly mowing visits, mulch application, bed maintenance, compost top dressing, and other lawn care tasks
- Ensure high-quality work and excellent customer service on every job site
- Train and mentor team members on equipment care and service techniques
- Communicate daily with the owner or manager to review completed work and plan ahead
- Maintain battery-powered equipment and company vehicles, including routine blade sharpening, battery charging, minor repairs, and ensuring all tools are clean, organized, and secure at the end of each day.
