Organic Lawn Fertilization
Our organic lawn fertilization in Bentonville and Bella Vista is pet-friendly, kid-friendly, and free of synthetic fertilizers. Our proprietary organic fertilizers and soil builders, developed with turf and soil scientists at Colorado State University, are built for Bermuda, zoysia, and fescue lawns. We strengthen roots, break up compacted clay, and build the soil biology that thin Ozark topsoil is often missing.
Organic fertilization detailsNatural Weed Control
We help Bentonville and Bella Vista homeowners manage the weeds that love Northwest Arkansas conditions, including crabgrass, dallisgrass, henbit, and broadleaf invaders that surge after heavy spring rains. Our plant-based products, including Moose Juice, protect soil health while your turf grows thick enough to crowd weeds out naturally, without harsh chemical herbicides.
Natural weed control detailsElectric Lawn Mowing
Our battery-powered mowing, charged by the sun, keeps Bentonville neighborhoods quieter and cleaner. The equipment easily handles the fast growth Bermuda and zoysia lawns put on during warm, humid Arkansas summers, and you get a professional cut and edge with no fumes and no emissions.
Electric mowing detailsLawn Aeration
Ozark clay packs down hard under foot traffic, pets, and summer storms. Core aeration pulls small plugs of soil so water, air, and our organic fertilizers reach the root zone instead of running off. We aerate Bermuda and zoysia while they’re actively growing and fescue when overseeding pays off most, for deeper roots and fewer soggy spots.
Lawn aeration detailsNatural Mosquito Control
Our natural mosquito control targets the places mosquitoes rely on most, including shaded tree lines, dense plantings, and the low airflow pockets common on Bella Vista’s wooded lots and lakeside properties. It kills and repels mosquitoes and helps knock back ticks, using plant-based products chosen with families, pets, and pollinators in mind.

Meet Logan Maienschein, Owner of Clean Air Lawn Care Bentonville
Logan is a Northwest Arkansas native and a long-suffering Razorback football fan. He loves all things outdoors and takes full advantage of the lakes, rivers, and miles of hiking and biking trails throughout NWA. Logan first joined Walmart in 1992 and returned in 2010, spending a combined 28 years with the company in Operations, Human Resources, International, and finally the Global Governance division.
Logan considers himself truly lucky to have five amazing kids, ranging from grade-schoolers to grown adults. He once lived on a hobby farm with chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, and horses, and now lives in Bella Vista with one dog and one cat. That love of family, pets, and the outdoors is what inspired him to start this company: even in a competitive market like NWA, he saw a clear need for lawn care built around kids and pets, with a quieter experience through all-electric equipment.
Logan brings a proven system with him. Clean Air Lawn Care was founded in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2006 and has been franchising since 2008, and our custom organic fertilizers and Moose Juice weed control were developed with Colorado State University turf and soil scientists.

Lawn Care Built for Northwest Arkansas
Northwest Arkansas sits in the transition zone, where lawns face hot, humid summers, real winters, and more than 45 inches of rain a year, much of it arriving in heavy spring storms. Most yards grow on rocky, clay-heavy Ozark soil with thin topsoil, so our program focuses on building soil biology and organic matter first, then adds core aeration to loosen compacted ground.
Sunny yards here are mostly Bermuda or zoysia, while shady lots under oaks often do better with tall fescue, so we time care for each part of your lawn separately. From the Razorback Greenway corridor to the wooded, lakeside lots of Bella Vista, we use plant-based products chosen with Little Sugar Creek, Lake Bella Vista, and the region’s other waterways in mind.
Frequently Asked Questions About Organic Lawn Care in Bentonville
Why is organic lawn care a smart choice for Bentonville and Bella Vista yards?
Northwest Arkansas lawns deal with rocky, clay-heavy Ozark soil, hot humid summers, and unpredictable spring weather. Organic treatments help improve soil structure, promote deep root growth, and feed the soil biology that keeps transition zone grasses like Bermuda, zoysia, and fescue resilient through heat and drought stress. Our approach builds a lawn that performs better year after year while keeping synthetic fertilizer runoff out of Little Sugar Creek, Lake Bella Vista, and the other waterways around Bentonville and Bella Vista.
How does Clean Air Lawn Care Bentonville handle mosquitoes and ticks without harsh chemicals?
Mosquitoes and ticks are a real problem across Northwest Arkansas, especially on shaded, wooded lots and properties near water in Bella Vista. We use bio-based mosquito control treatments that reduce mosquito populations without relying on harsh synthetic chemicals. Our plant-based treatments are chosen with pets, kids, and pollinators in mind, yet tough on mosquitoes, ticks, flies, and ants. We apply them to high-risk areas like tree lines, dense vegetation, shady corners, and spots where moisture collects, and we help you identify conditions on your property that invite mosquitoes in the first place.
Is your lawn care pet-friendly and kid-friendly?
Yes. That is the whole reason we do lawn care this way. Our fertilization, weed control, and mosquito treatments are natural and organic-based, so there is no need to keep your dog off the lawn for days or worry about chemical residue on paws, toys, or bare feet. Your yard should be the place your family loves spending time, not a place you have to think twice about.
Do your services work for Northwest Arkansas’s growing season?
Yes. Bentonville sits in the transition zone, which means lawns here face both scorching summers and real winters. We build care plans around that rhythm, with soil-building fertilization in spring and fall, weed pressure management ahead of the seasonal surges, and emission-free electric mowing through the peak growing months. Whether you have a warm season Bermuda lawn or a fescue lawn that needs extra attention in the fall, we tailor the plan to your grass and your property.
What are the benefits of electric lawn mowing in Bentonville?
Electric lawn mowing is a cleaner, quieter alternative to gas-powered lawn care, and it fits the way Northwest Arkansas lives. Our electric equipment produces zero emissions and dramatically less noise, so you can enjoy your porch, your garden, or a quiet morning without the roar of gas mowers and the smell of exhaust. The equipment has plenty of power for thick Bermuda and zoysia turf and leaves a clean, even cut every time. It is a smarter way to maintain your lawn while protecting the air quality and peace of the neighborhood you chose to live in.
When is the best time to fertilize a lawn in Bentonville?
It depends on your grass type. Bermuda and zoysia are warm season grasses, so they get the most from feeding after they fully green up in late spring, usually around May, through midsummer. Fescue is a cool season grass that does its best growing in fall, so September through November is when we focus on feeding fescue lawns. Many Bentonville and Bella Vista yards have Bermuda in the sun and fescue under the oaks, so we time each area of your lawn separately instead of using one schedule for the whole yard.
How do I get started with organic lawn care in Bentonville?
Getting started is simple. Request a free estimate and we will put together a plan built for your lawn, your grass type, and your goals. Most Bentonville, Bella Vista, and Fayetteville customers combine organic fertilization, natural weed control, and mosquito control for a yard that is healthy, green, and comfortable to actually use all season long.
