Organic Lawn Fertilization

Our organic lawn fertilization in Vancouver is tailored to Pacific Northwest soils and growing conditions. Custom organic fertilizers and natural soil builders, developed with Colorado State University turf and soil scientists, strengthen roots, improve soil health, and support steady growth through wet winters and dry summers. Pet-friendly, kid-friendly, and pollinator-friendly.

Natural Weed Control

We manage common Vancouver weeds like clover, dandelions, and broadleaf varieties by focusing on soil health, deeper grass roots, and thicker turf that crowds weeds out over time. When weeds need extra help, we use an eco-friendly pre-emergent and Moose Juice, our plant-based weed control, instead of harsh chemical herbicides.

Organic Moss Control

Clark County’s wet, gray winters make moss one of the biggest lawn problems around, especially in shady, compacted, or acidic spots. We treat moss with organic products, then fix what let it in by thickening turf, feeding the soil, and opening up compacted ground.

Electric Lawn Mowing

Our battery-powered mowers, trimmers, and blowers keep Vancouver neighborhoods quieter and cleaner, with no fumes or exhaust and far less noise than gas equipment. You get professional lawn maintenance all through the long growing season, and your neighbors will thank you.

Lawn Aeration

Core aeration pulls plugs from compacted soil so water, air, and nutrients reach the roots. In Clark County it also helps soggy lawns drain after months of rain and makes it harder for moss to take hold.

Natural Mosquito Control

Our natural mosquito control reduces mosquito activity using plant-based treatments and targeted applications. We focus on shaded areas, dense landscaping, and low-airflow zones where mosquitoes thrive, helping you enjoy your yard while staying mindful of families, pets, and pollinators.

Meet Natalee Webb, Owner of Clean Air Lawn Care Vancouver

Natalee’s lawn care story started early. At just eight years old, she bought her first lawn mower and spent much of her childhood mowing neighbors’ lawns. By age 12, she had saved enough from her little lawn care business to pay for a trip to Space Camp, which was an early introduction to entrepreneurship, hard work, and the satisfaction of building something of her own.

Natalee has spent more than 25 years in the Pacific Northwest and has proudly called Vancouver, Washington, home for the past eight years. After spending 10 years working in higher education and more than 15 years in the technology industry, Natalee decided it was time to trade in some of her screen time for more time outdoors and return to those early lawn care roots. Clean Air Lawn Care offered the perfect opportunity to combine entrepreneurship with her love of the outdoors and commitment to environmentally responsible practices.

Natalee believes a beautiful, healthy lawn shouldn’t have to come at the expense of clean air or the health of our families, pets, and environment. She loves helping customers care for their outdoor spaces using quieter, cleaner electric equipment and environmentally conscious lawn care practices. She also believes in building strong relationships with her customers and the local small business community.

Natalee is married and has two kids and two doggos. When she’s not working, you’ll often find her and her family on the Olympic Peninsula hiking, camping, or paddleboarding. She’s also an avid sports fan and tries to make it to as many Portland area professional sporting events as possible, especially the Timbers, Thorns, and Portland Fire.

Natalee brings a proven system with her. Clean Air Lawn Care was founded in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2006 and has been franchising since 2008, and our custom organic fertilizers and Moose Juice weed control were developed with Colorado State University turf and soil scientists.

Lawn Care Built for Clark County and the Pacific Northwest

Vancouver gets around 40 inches of rain a year, and the hills toward Battle Ground and Yacolt get even more. Most of it falls between fall and late spring, followed by warm, dry summers and a long growing season. All that rain washes nutrients out of the soil and leaves it acidic and compacted, which is exactly where moss moves in, especially under the big firs and maples in established neighborhoods like Hazel Dell, Felida, and Cascade Park. Most local lawns grow cool-season grasses like perennial ryegrass and fescues.

That’s why our programs start with soil health: custom organic fertilizers and natural soil builders, core aeration, organic moss control, and mowing high so grass holds up through dry summers. Clover, dandelions, and broadleaf weeds move in wherever turf is thin, so we thicken the lawn first and treat weeds second. Shaded yards and low-airflow corners near the Columbia River, Vancouver Lake, Salmon Creek, Lacamas Lake, and the Ridgefield wetlands also hold mosquitoes, so many customers pair lawn care with natural mosquito control. In Washington, anyone applying weed, moss, or pest products for hire must be licensed by the Washington State Department of Agriculture, and Natalee holds that license herself.

Frequently Asked Questions About Eco-Friendly Lawn Care in Vancouver

Why should I choose Clean Air Lawn Care for my Vancouver lawn?

Clean Air Lawn Care Vancouver is locally owned and operated by Natalee Webb, a licensed applicator certified by the Washington State Department of Agriculture. We combine quiet electric mowing with organic fertilization, natural weed control, organic moss control, and core aeration, all chosen with kids and pets in mind. Every plan is built around Clark County’s wet winters, dry summers, and moss-prone soils, whether you’re in Felida, Cascade Park, Camas, or Battle Ground. You get professional lawn care without synthetic fertilizers or noisy gas equipment.

How do you get rid of moss in a Vancouver lawn?

Moss thrives in Vancouver’s long, wet, mild winters, especially in shady, compacted, poorly drained, or acidic spots. We treat existing moss with organic moss control, then go after the conditions that let it in: core aeration to relieve compaction and help soggy soil drain, organic fertilization to thicken the turf, and mowing high so grass can compete. Treating moss without fixing the soil just means it comes right back.

Do you offer pet-friendly, natural weed control in Vancouver?

Yes. Our first line of defense is a thick, healthy lawn that crowds out clover, dandelions, and broadleaf weeds on its own. We may use an eco-friendly pre-emergent early in the growing season, and when weeds need direct treatment we use Moose Juice, our plant-based weed control developed with Colorado State University turf and soil scientists, instead of harsh chemical herbicides. Every product is chosen with your family and pets in mind.

What makes lawn care in Clark County different?

Vancouver gets around 40 inches of rain a year, and areas toward Battle Ground and Yacolt get even more, with most of it falling between fall and late spring, followed by warm, dry summers. All that rain washes nutrients out of the soil and leaves it acidic and compacted, which is exactly where moss takes over. Most local lawns grow cool-season grasses like perennial ryegrass and fescues. That’s why we focus on building soil, not just greening grass: organic fertilizers and soil builders feed the soil, core aeration opens compacted ground, and mowing high helps lawns hold moisture through dry summers.

Is Clean Air Lawn Care Vancouver licensed and insured?

Yes. Owner Natalee Webb is a licensed applicator certified by the Washington State Department of Agriculture (License #113704), and our team is fully insured for your peace of mind.

Do you offer natural mosquito control in Vancouver?

Yes. Our natural mosquito control uses plant-based treatments and targeted applications aimed at shaded areas, dense landscaping, and low-airflow zones where mosquitoes rest. Yards near the Columbia River, Vancouver Lake, Salmon Creek, and Lacamas Lake can see heavy mosquito pressure, and our treatments help you take your yard back without harsh or synthetic chemicals.

Which areas and ZIP codes do you serve?

We serve Vancouver neighborhoods including Hazel Dell, Felida, Salmon Creek, Orchards, and Cascade Park, plus Camas, Washougal, Battle Ground, Brush Prairie, Ridgefield, Yacolt, Amboy, and Ariel. Not sure if you’re in our area? Call or text (360) 553-9913.
